09-15-13 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

(24th Sunday Ordinary Time C)
Jesus said, “I tell you,” “there will be more joy in heaven
over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people
who have no need of repentance.”  Lk 15:1-32

Found – the lost sheep, found – the lost coin,
found – the lost son.
The Pharisees had a real problem with Jesus entertaining the “sinners.”
You see those were the “untouchables,” according to the Pharisees.
Because if they were touched they would make the toucher dirty as well.
Jesus had no problem touching the untouchable.
As a matter of fact, by His simple touch many of them were healed!
Sometimes all it takes, beloved, is a simple touch.
Maybe it’s time to reach out and touch ‘the lost.’
And who knows, they just might end up
being our best of friends!
And nothing would make Jesus happier!
