Jesus said to his disciples,
“Pay attention to what I am telling you.
The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.” Lk 9:43b-45
Ever feel like we’re living in a world of too many words?
From text, to voicemail, to email, to cell phones,
from radio to TV to movies to newspapers.
It just gets to be too much.
So what happens to the really important stuff?
Well, there’s riots and uprisings and wars.
And they all wonder,
IS ANYBODY LISTENING?
Jesus said, PAY ATTENTION!
This one is REALLY important!!!
They’re going to KILL God!
But you know what, beloved?
It just CAN NOT be done!
So let them shout and riot and proclaim all kinds of evil as
“politically acceptable” and morally fair and relatively OK.
But WE know better.
Jesus IS Alive.
And He WILL be back to sift and to save.
So just hang in there, gentle one, and LISTEN
~ to the Whispers ~
They’re in your heart!
