12-10-13 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

12-10-13
Though the grass withers and the flower wilts,
the word of our God stands forever.”  Is 40:1-11

wilting roseSometimes, that Word stands out like a blaring trumpet:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.”  Jn 3:16

But other times, it may be like – a tiny whispering wind:
jesus_lambLike a shepherd he feeds his flock; in his arms he gathers the lambs, carrying them in his bosom, and leading the ewes with care.”   Is 40:1-11

That’s you and I, beloved.
The withering grass and the wilting flowers;
the lost sheep and the imperishable Loved ones.

May our Loving God bless you always!
