(Eighth Sunday Ordinary Time A)
Jesus said to his disciples: “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life . . . ” Mt 6:24-34
When we serve the Lord, brothers and sisters in Christ, all fears and worries from the material world will fade away. The Lord will see us through the financial disaster of the world. The Lord will see us through mishaps and accidents. The Lord will even see us through death itself. Because from the world’s point of view, death is the end. But from the Lord’s viewpoint it is just the beginning. And what a glorious beginning it will be, beloved!
For unlike the world, the Lord LOVES us with all his being – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And He will never forget us!
Happy March dear ones.
And in a few days – Happy Lent!
