04-11-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 11, 2014
The Prophet Jeremiah said, “the LORD is with me, like a mighty champion: my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph.”  Jer 20:10-13

In the midst of the whole world against him, Jeremiah still professed his faith in the Lord.  What beautiful strength and courage we receive when we believe.  That’s FAITH!

Jesus said, “‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Jn 10:31-42

Even Jesus needed the strength of the Father in the midst of the hard-hearted.  For not even His works could convince those who refused to believe.

And those who did believe not only got to know the Son of God, but even experience the wonders of the work of the Father, supernatural miracles, healings, resurrections and the Words of Truth that only the Lord could offer.

Come and see, beloved.  It’s quite breathtaking!
