04-20-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 20, 2014
(Easter Sunday, The Resurrection of the Lord)
Alleluia, He is Risen!
When Simon Peter arrived (at the tomb of Jesus) after him (John), he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead.  Jn 20:1-9

Peter said, “everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.” Acts 10:34a, 37-43

Resurrection by otakuAn empty tomb for the skeptical, a material remnant for the scientific, a word to the romantic, a body with nail holes and all for the doubter, a promise for the hopeful, mercy for the guilty, NEW LIFE for the believer!  Wherever we are in life, Jesus is there to bring us home!  Come, Live the Easter promise!  And praise His sacrifice and His Love,
for us!
