08-29-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

St. Paul said, “The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”  1 Cor 1:17-25

Want to see a beautiful illustration of this Truth?  Watch the movie “God’s not Dead.”   It’s the story of how a young Christian defends his faith in a faithless (or backboneless) classroom, before a supposed atheist teacher who is actually an agnostic.  God is quite powerful in Word and it’s always interesting in the end to see the foolishness of the supposed “wise” revealed.
Peace, beloved!
