09-03-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

(St. Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church)
Jesus said, “I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.”  Lk 4:38-44

People often wonder, why Jesus came among us?
It wasn’t to rail on the Pharisees.
It wasn’t to become a worldly king.
It actually wasn’t to become a “great” anything.
Jesus came among us to “proclaim.”
The Kingdom of God is here – and that’s good news, because we have the power to live in that Kingdom, despite whatever worldly situation we may be in – when we keep Jesus close to our hearts.
When we internalize all those powerful Words He taught and then live them – we’ll find ourselves, beloved, right there reveling in the Joy of the Kingdom of God.
And THAT’S pretty Awesome!

Thank you Jesus!
