09-21-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

September 21, 2014
(25th Sunday Ordinary Time A; St. Matthew, Apostle)
The LORD said, through the prophet Isaiah, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD.  As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts.”  Is 55:6-9

What is it, beloved, that makes no worldly sense about the LORD?  Maybe if we think about it a little deeper.  Maybe if we pray about it a little harder, all of a sudden it will.  That’s the Holy Spirit working within us.  He make’s the nonsensical make sense in the light of God’s great LOVE for All of life – especially us.

This week, let’s see if we can add a little peace to our lives, by looking at people through God’s eyes.  Yeah, they may seem a little dumb (don’t we all from God’s viewpoint), they may seem a little rude, they may seem a little lethargic, but let’s give them, and ourselves, the benefit of the doubt.  God loves us anyway!  So why shouldn’t we love one another equally!

It’s all in the way we look at it!  : )

Life through God's eyes

(Hey 61, we made it another year!  Thank you Jesus!  Thank you my awesome family.  Thank you world!  Thank you God!  Thank you my beloved!)
