09-27-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

September 27, 2014
(St. Vincent de Paul, Priest)
Rejoice, O young man, while you are young and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth.  Follow the ways of your heart, the vision of your eyes; yet understand that as regards all this God will bring you to judgment.  Ward off grief from your heart and put away trouble from your presence, though the dawn of youth is fleeting.   Eccl 11:9-12:8

If we’re not still there, can we bring ourselves back to the joy, the excitement and the purity of our youth?  Immerse yourself in God, beloved.  And the joy WILL come back.  Weep and laugh, run and shout – Jesus has come and will return, and can be with us whenever we call to Him.

Jesus in me and you . . .
