11-16-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 16, 2014
(33rd Sunday Ordinary Time A)
St. Paul said, “Concerning times and seasons, brothers and sisters, you have no need for anything to be written to you.  For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief at night.”   1 Thes 5:1-6

What are we willing to do, beloved, to assure that we make it to heaven in God’s good graces?  Take a risk, go out of our way to help others, or maybe even devote our lives to sanctifying our own family.  Whatever it may be, we are not called to cower in fear of the Lord and do nothing.  Pray, beloved, that He will show us our own special calling and then – take a chance, and do it – just do it!
