11-24-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 24, 2014
(St. Andrew Dung-Lac, Priest, and Companions, Martyrs)
Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD?  Or who may stand in his holy place?  He whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean, who desires not what is vain.”  Ps 24

This is our ultimate goal.  To ascend the mountain of the LORD.  And the best way to accomplish that, as the Psalmist says, is to have a clean heart.  And to have a clean heart means to be sinless and not desire whatever in life is vain.  That means to be very careful of what we watch and listen too.  To have a caring heart for everyone, especially the poor, and to love, and to love, and to love.  It all starts with Jesus.  Only through Jesus will we ever be able to accomplish all that.  So to start with, beloved, we get to know Him. We rely on Him and we pray always.  And that mountain will become for us as flat as a plain.

Peace and all blessings to you, always!
