12-11-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 11, 2014
The LORD spoke through the prophet Isaiah saying: “I am the LORD, your God, who grasp your right hand; It is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Is 41:13-20

The psalmist said: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.” Ps 23

When we can truly understand the significance, the power of our God, then we will begin to grasp the silliness of fear.  Yes, there may be pain, there may be embarrassment, there may even be death, but it all leads to something much, much greater.  God is greater than it all!  And we are safe, beloved, in the hands of God.  And being there, we’ll find that there really is no reason to fear.  The martyrs even rejoiced in their pain.

Cling on to God with all your might, beloved, and KNOW,
