12-28-14 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 28, 2014
(The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph)
The LORD’s servant Simeon, filled with the Holy Spirit, took the Child Jesus into his arms and proclaimed, “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in sight of all the peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.”   Lk 2:22-40

No greater blessing could the Son of God receive, than from a man who had faithfully completed his life in hopeful expectation of seeing the birth of the Savior.  He was Spirit filled and a true Child of God himself.  Ever have someone bless you, beloved?  Every time we give God’s blessing upon another person, that person grows in Love of him-or-herself and of God and of their neighbors.

God’s mercy is upon all of us, and those who are blessed are especially holy.

May God bless you, beloved, and keep you always in His loving care!  And may you be a blessing to everyone you meet today!
