01-04-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 4, 2015
(Epiphany, B)
After the magi had entertained the follies of Herod they returned to their quest to find the newborn King of the Jews, and:  “the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was.  They were overjoyed at seeing the star,”  Mt 2:1-12

You see, the magi really didn’t need the advice of a foolish king, for they were searching for the TRUE King.  And God would see to it that they would find him no matter what the fool advised or requested.  Sometimes, beloved, we just have to follow that star and whatever the rest of the world thinks or advises is hogwash compared to where God is leading us!
