01-18-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 18, 2015
(Second Sunday Ordinary Time B)
Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.
I have waited, waited for the LORD,

and he stooped toward me and heard my cry.
And he put a new song into my mouth,
a hymn to our God.  Ps 40

Are we waiting, waiting on the Lord, beloved?  Are we wondering where He is?  Why is He taking so long?  Why isn’t He hearing me?  Where is the answer?

He IS hearing us, Sweetness, and one day soon, there will be a NEW SONG in our hearts.  A new song in our mouths.  A song of LOVE.  And we will sing – Here I am, Lord, I’ve come to do YOUR will.  Despite all the rest, Your will is my heart’s desire.
So “Hold me Jesus!
