02-08-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 8, 2015
(Fifth Sunday Ordinary Time B)
St. Paul said, “If I preach the gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it!”  1 Cor 9:16-19, 22-23

Jesus said, “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also.  For this purpose have I come.”  Mk 1:29-39

Preaching.  It’s not forcing poison down people’s throats.  It’s not being obnoxious.  It’s not soliciting people to give something they don’t have.  It’s offering a better way.  It’s modeling a way of life better than anything imaginable.  It’s offering hope in a hopeless world.  It’s joy.  It’s love.  It’s Jesus!  It’s an invitation to everyone!
Come beloved and share the Gospel… God loves everyone!
