02-18-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 18, 2015
(Ash Wednesday)
Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.  For I acknowledge my offense, and my sin is before me always: “Against you only have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight.”  Ps 51

A very blessed Ash Wednesday to you, beloved.

Another year, another Lent.  Time to take that spiritually cleansing bath again.  But it’s a pleasant bath, because we know that our God is a loving and merciful God.  And now it’s time to ask His forgiveness.  And it’s there just for the asking, because we know that our Lord, Jesus, already paid the price.  Come to the waters beloved and feel the healing peace of the Lord.

With love and appreciation we say:

Thank You Jesus!
