02-24-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 24, 2015
The LORD spoke, through the Prophet Isaiah, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it.”   Is 55:10-11

Jesus said, “This is how you are to pray: Our Father who art in heaven, . . . thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. . .” Mt 6:7-15

My word,” of which the LORD spoke to Isaiah, is Jesus, who did His Father’s will on earth, achieving the purpose for which God sent Him – the salvation of as many souls as would listen.

And the Words that Jesus spoke to us, His Father’s words, will also not return to God void.  But to those who would listen, hear and act on those Words, God’s “will” will also achieve it’s purpose in us, beloved!  That we may live a little bit of God’s Kingdom here on earth, as we will forever in heaven.
