04-02-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 2, 2015
(Holy Thursday, B)
St. Paul wrote, “the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over,  took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you.  Do this in remembrance of me.’  In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood.  Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’”   1 Cor 11:23-26

DO THIS!
Jesus instituted this Blessed Sacrament in order that we might always remember His code of ethics, signed and sealed with His Body and Blood.  “Love one another.”  Through the Holy Eucharist, we become ONE with Jesus and one another, beloved.  And being one, we want nothing more than to BE who Jesus was and DO what Jesus did.  And so we ARE and so we CAN.
Come!
