08-14-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

(St. Maximilian Kolbe, Priest and Martyr)
The LORD spoke to Joshua saying, “I gave you a land that you had not tilled and cities that you had not built, to dwell in; you have eaten of vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.” Jos 24:1-13

We always have to remember beloved, where our riches have come from.  Yes we work and get paid to help us along the path of survival.  But we would not have those jobs were it not for the Lord.  We would not have the food to eat, were it not for the Lord.  We would not have the air to breath, were it not for the Lord.  And we’re doing a pretty poor job of respecting that air and that food and those jobs we’ve been blessed with.  If we don’t start standing up for the wealth the Lord has entrusted into our hands, we just may not be standing up at all any more.

Praise the Lord in all we have, in all we do, and the Lord will continue to bless us with His love, brothers and sisters in Christ.  And start taking a stand for LIFE!  It’s not ours to take away from anyone.  And it’s not even ours to give.  If life has been created, it has been given to us solely for the Lord.  Consecrate our children, beloved, born or yet to be born into this world – for they belong to God!
