09-15-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

(Our Lady of Sorrows)
Hanging from the Cross, Jesus said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple “Behold, your mother.”And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.”  Jn 19:25-27

Some Scripture scholars call this the beginning of the Church.  As Jesus gave his Mother to His “beloved disciple,” so He gives His life, His love, His all – to us.  Cling to Him, beloved.  Weep not, for He has risen.  And in that rising He shows us that we will live again, as well.  Let His life lead us in enduring our own suffering.  Let His life offer us the promise of eternal life with God and our loved ones forever.  No more crying.  Now is the time to rejoice.  For Jesus is our God!  And His Mother we take into our homes and into our lives!
