10-09-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

October 9, 2015
In response to an accusation that Jesus represented Satan in exorcising demons, Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house.”   Lk_11:15-26

A little common sense there, people.  Why would Satan drive his own demons out of people?  Jesus was making the point that they needed to look under their own bed sheets before they started throwing accusations around about other people’s beds.

We comfortable Americans need to heed the same warning, as we become more and more divided: Democrats/Republicans, guns/no guns, abortions/life, Muslims/Christians/Jews/atheists, black/white/Hispanic/Oriental . . .  We really are – quite a mess right now.  But not only here, all over our globe.

Differences really are OK.

We just need to respect each others’ differences a little better.  We need to respect the life of everyone.  We just need a little more of that Jesus – Love.  ‘Cause, if we keep on dividing, there just won’t be much left, after we’re all done killing each other, because we’re not all the same.

LOVE . . .
Take a deep breath, beloved, and Love!
