11-01-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 1, 2015
(Solemnity of All Saints)
St. John said, “Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed.  We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.  Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.”   1_Jn_3:1-3

Jesus said, “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.” Mt_5:1-12a

The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls the Beatitudes, “the paradoxical promises that sustain Hope in the midst of tribulations. CCC 1717

Feeling a little depressed, beloved?  Maybe it’s time to dig back into the Beatitudes.  And then start to count our blessings instead of our tribulations.  We ARE very very blessed!
