12-16-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 16, 2015
John summoned two of his disciples and sent them to the Lord to ask, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”  Lk_7:18b-23

Ever wonder, beloved, if anything we do is ever recognized?  Ever have someone ask you, “Where did YOU get that from,” after saying something they finally listened to, as though you really don’t know anything and shouldn’t be saying anything that is worth hearing?  Do you ever, just get tired of it?

You see, it really doesn’t matter WHAT everyone else thinks about us.  All that matters is that we continue doing the will of the Father.  “Do YOU really exist?” they ask.  Well maybe not!  So yeah, why don’t you go look for someone else, and we’ll just continue bringing sight to the blind, food to the hungry, hope to the hopeless and count on Jesus’ words:  “blessed is the one who takes no offense at me” ibid.  BLESSED are YOU, beloved – and loved!
