01-31-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 31, 2016
(4th Sunday Ordinary Time C)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I dedicated you,” . . .

Be not crushed on their account, as though I would leave you crushed before them; for it is I this day who have made you a fortified city, a pillar of iron, a wall of brass . . .

They will fight against you but not prevail over you,
for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.   Jer_1:4-5,17-19

No greater hope can ANYONE,
even the unborn, have.

God WILL deliver us!

And as for us, THIS is our call defined . . .

Love is patient, love is kind.
It is not jealous, it is not pompous,
It is not inflated, it is not rude,
it does not seek its own interests,
it is not quick-tempered,
it does not brood over injury,
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing
but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.
