02-18-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 18, 2016
Queen Esther prayed to the LORD: “Save us from the hand of our enemies; turn our mourning into gladness and our sorrows into wholeness.”  Est_C:12,14-16,23-25

Jesus said to his disciples: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Mt_7:7-12

Esther found and received the exact results that she prayed for.  The LORD delivered her and her people.  He turned the king to listening and accepting who she really was.  And a harsh punishment was dealt to those who sought to harm her.

When we place our full and devoted trust in the LORD, He will answer us.  Jesus is our intercessor for God the Father.  And whatever we ask of Jesus, He will see that only the very best comes back to us.  And maybe that’s not always life vs death, but it IS always eternal salvation vs condemnation.  We ARE His children, and He will always watch over us!
