03-12-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 12, 2016
(St. Maximilian, Martyr)
So the guards went to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, “Why did you not bring him (Jesus)?”  The guards answered, “Never before has anyone spoken like this man.”
. . . Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to him earlier, said to them, “Does our law condemn a man before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?”  Jn_7:40-53

Conspiracy was in the air.  And so was common sense (in some).  Kind of, makes us wonder (today) where all the common sense has gone?  Are we all headed for that same levels of injustice.  Watch out if you’re an immigrant, a Muslim, a Christian, a fetus, or who knows what’s next.  Nasty business is in the air.  Let us pray, beloved, that the Lord will see us through this mess!
