03-26-15 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 26, 2016
(Holy Saturday)
Thus says the Lord: I will take you away from among the nations, gather you from all the foreign lands, and bring you back to your own land.
I will sprinkle clean water upon you to cleanse you from all your impurities, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you,  taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts.
I will put my spirit within you and make you live by my statutes, careful to observe my decrees.
You shall live in the land I gave your fathers; you shall be my people, and I will be your God.  (Seventh Reading from the Easter Vigil Mass:  Ez_36:16-17a,18-28)

The Eternal Promise!

At daybreak on the first day of the week the women who had come from Galilee with Jesus took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb; but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
While they were puzzling over this, behold, two men in dazzling garments appeared to them.
They were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground.
They said to them,
“Why do you seek the living one among the dead?
He is not here, but he has been raised.  Lk_24:1-12

The Fulfillment!

Now, it’s our turn!
He’s not among the dead.
Seek Him among the Living, and LIVE!
