04-12-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 12, 2016
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”  Jn_6:30-35

What are we hungering and thirsting for, beloved?  Is it something we really need, or is it something we just want or would like to have?  Funny, when we finally get those things we thought we wanted so bad, in a week or two, we are already getting tired of them and are looking for something else.  Jesus IS everything we could ever want or need.  He fills us with love and nourishment.  And His fulfillment never grows old and never wears out.  Come, beloved, and be filled with the blessed joy of being one with Jesus.  Come to His Church, and receive the Bread of Life!
