04-23-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 23, 2016
(St. George, Martyr)
Jesus said, “whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.” Jn_14:7-14

Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him.  If we want to know God, beloved, we need to become “in” Jesus.  So we read every word we can get our hands on about Him, about His life.  We worship Him in prayer, at Mass and in the Sacraments.  And then we ask!  We ask for protection, we ask for sustenance and we ask for help.  And when we find that it truly has come to us, we thank God.  For we have truly become one with Jesus and He and God the Father and the Holy Spirit has become one with us as well.  Praise God!  And let the world know of His Love!
