Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us. Ps 103
My soul cries out to you, my God, “why have you abandoned me?” And then I recall the bed I have to sleep on. I recall the food I have to eat, the car I have to drive, the home I have to live in and I remember Your great kindness. Who am I to cry, when I remember your presence with every breath I take. So far above all this – You ARE! And then I cry again . . .
I just want to come home.
