05-18-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 18, 2016
Beloved: Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we shall go into such and such a town, spend a year there doing business, and make a profit” – you have no idea what your life will be like tomorrow.  You are a puff of smoke that appears briefly and then disappears. Instead you should say, “If the Lord wills it, we shall live to do this or that.”   Jas_4:13-17

Isn’t that the truth!  Point not being that we shouldn’t make plans.  Point is that we need to always remember who the Captain is.  It’s definitely not us!  Place your trust in God and God will see that you are provided for!  And if we feel like we just don’t know how.  Start speaking with Jesus!  That’s why He came.   That’s why He sent the Holy Spirit.  Trust!
