05-28-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 28, 2016
(St. Mary Ann of Jesus of Paredes, OFS)
Beloved, remember the words spoken beforehand by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit.  Keep yourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.  On those who waver, have mercy; save others by snatching them out of the fire; on others have mercy with fear, abhorring even the outer garment stained by the flesh.   Jude_17:20b-25

So, when asked, “What am I to do to gain eternal life?” here are some activities.  Pray, learn, love, wait, save others, show mercy and avoid all evil.   If we can do this beloved, we’re well on our way!  And never forget to seek the Holy Spirit in our love of Christ.
