09-11-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

September 11, 2016
(24th Sunday Ordinary Time C)
A day of remembrance . .
A clean heart create for me, O God,
and a steadfast spirit renew within me.
Cast me not out from your presence,
and your Holy Spirit take not from me.
O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.  Ps 51

Root out of us, O Lord, all evil.
Hatred and revenge are not a part of the clean heart we seek.
Give us hearts of mercy and forgiveness.
Yes, we may be surrounded by the evil of a depraved world.
But if we look close enough we will see You.
You, in those who willingly suffer for the sake of others.
You, in those who give even when there is nothing left to give.
You, in everyone!
Cleanse our hearts O Lord and help us
to BE like You!

Help us to remember the LOVE
and not the evil.
