09-13-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

September 13, 2016
(St. John Chrysostom, Bishop and Doctor of the Church)
Jesus said, “Young man, I tell you, arise!”  The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.   Lk_7:11-17

What better reason to raise a dead man than to give him to his mother!  What better reason could there be to come back to life, than to return to your mother!  We have a Mother, beloved, awaiting our return to God.  What better reason to seek His Kingdom than to see our Mother again.  One day, according to His will, that return will happen.  But for now, we just keep on keeping on.  And we let the world know of our loving God to whom we will one day be reunited!  Praise be Jesus!
