11-02-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 2, 2016
(The Commemoration of All The Faithful Departed, All Souls Day)
The souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them.  They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction.  But they are in peace. Wis_3:1-9

What a beautiful passage of Hope, beloved!  “In the hands of God” “no torment” “in peace”  Lord, please help us to be those “just” ones, that we may be at peace with You always!

The writer continued, “. . . they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble . . . ” ibid

The GLOW of God’s love!

St. Paul wrote, “Brothers and sisters: Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.”  Rom_5:5-11

. . . this love is poured onto us through our Baptisms and continues to be poured into us through Jesus Christ who died to bring us life!  Praise be to God!
