12-15-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 15, 2016
Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken, My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the LORD, who has mercy on you. Is_54:1-10

What more hope-filled message could we receive.  God’s love is unbreakable and His mercy infinite!

Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,
he will prepare your way before you.

Jesus tells us that this messenger, described  by the Prophet Isaiah, is John the Baptist.  John prepares our hearts through the cleansing of baptism.  Through our repentance in the Sacrament of Reconciliation we become open to receive the Lord.  Jesus fills us with His Holy Spirit and we are ready for to enter the presence of God.  Open your heart, beloved, this Christmas and allow the presence of God to flow into you.
