01-08-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 8, 2017
(Epiphany of the Lord)
St. Paul wrote: . . . that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.  Eph_3:2-3a,5-6

That means that even though Jesus was Jewish and fulfilled all the Jewish prophesies about the coming of a Messiah or Savior for the Jews, He also came to unite ALL peoples as One with Him in offering to us – eternal salvation.  And THAT’s Good News!

Today we celebrate this “Epiphany,” this revelation, as the three, Gentile, magi come to see the new-born King, Jesus!

Jesus IS for ALL!
And He invites us all to COME, and join Him!
