01-12-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 12, 2017
Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the living God.  Encourage yourselves daily while it is still “today,” so that none of you may grow hardened by the deceit of sin.   Heb_3:7-14

If you’ve ever heard that cliche “You’re better than that,” take it to heart beloved.  For we all are!  Every little thought that knocks ourselves or others down – we’re better than that.  Every time we get angry at some silly misdeed of others, that they probably don’t even realize they did to upset us – we’re better than that!  When we keep good thoughts in our heads and good deeds in our hands, then we’re using that ‘faithful heart’ that God gave us.  We are His children and THAT’s something we should never forget!  May He bless you today and always!
