01-23-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 23, 2017
Jesus said, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.”   Mk_3:22-30

So they were accusing Jesus of conspiring with Satan, even though and because He was expelling demons.  Just didn’t make any sense!  Why would Satan conspire against himself?

Sometimes when someone or some faction is wrong, absolutely nothing they say or do makes any sense!  Sound like anything we’re seeing today, beloved?  Makes you just want to shake them, “Wake up!”  But we can’t do that, because it won’t make any difference anyway.  So we just keep on praying for them.  And hopefully one day they will see the Light!

And if we decide to fight them, well, we’ll just make ourselves that house divided against itself.  And that makes about as much non-sense as the non-sense we’re disagreeing with!  Just keep on praying beloved, keep on praying!
