02-20-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 20, 2017
The father of a demon possessed boy asked Jesus, “But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”  Jesus said to him, “‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”  Mk_9:14-29

So what is it, beloved, that we just can’t overcome?  What is it that just seems impossible to us?  If we can get rid of that word from our vocabulary – impossible, and begin to believe that whatever it is we really want, we CAN have with a little faith and probably a little patience, then hang on because all things are possible with God!  Maybe we don’t REALLY want it!  Maybe we know that there can be something even better and we just need to dream a little harder.  Have Faith, beloved and keep on dreaming – and keep on praying!
