03-12-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 12, 2017
(2nd Sunday of Lent A)
Beloved: Bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.  He saved us and called us to a holy life, not according to our works but according to his own design and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began,  2_Tm_1:8b-10

Just when we think we can’t take any more of this, that Grace will save us again, and again, and again . . .  That bright light on the mountaintop will brighten our lives.  That voice coming out of the darkness will remind us that “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” Mt_17:1-9  And it is that Son who will save us every time!  Before time began, beloved, Jesus knew YOUR name.  And He came and died that you may be saved.  Seek His light and trust in Him!
