(Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion)
Jesus said, “It is finished.” Jn_18:1-19:42

. . . The suffering, the human life, the teaching, all the stories, all the walking, all the arguing, the laughing, the crying, the healing, the miracles, the Mission; it is finished.

And now we await!  We await a new beginning.  We await one last Sign:  new life, resurrection, promises, hope.  And now it’s our turn to say “It is finished.”  . . . The sin, the selfishness, the apathy, the uncaring, the hopelessness, the not listening, the not believing.  Jesus CAME to erase it all away.  Now it our turn to begin anew!  “Follow me.” were the last words of Jesus in John’s Gospel.  Now it’s time to finish and follow.

Jesus is waiting!
