04-26-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 26, 2017
God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.   Jn_3:16-21

One of the most well-known verses in the Bible.  A verse of Hope, yet a verse of warning . . . BELIEVE!

And it always seems to prompt the question, “What about all the good people in the world who don’t believe in Jesus?”  Well, IF they are so good, why do they NOT believe in Jesus?  He is Goodness personified.  He is the perfect model of everything we should strive for.  And when we realize that, we come to understand in our hearts that He truly is the Son of God!

Their/our goodness should always lead them to Christ.  Maybe they just haven’t grown that far yet!  And if they are blatantly refusing to believe, then maybe this passage IS for them!  The question is, Why?

And how can we help lead them to Jesus?
How can we help Save them too!
