05-06-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 6, 2017
Having completed his proclamation about eating his body and drinking his blood, Jesus was disappointed in those of his disciples who decided to no longer stay with him.
Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?”  Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go?  You have the words of eternal life.  We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”  Jn_6:60-69

How much faith do we have beloved:  To believe what may seem absurd, to believe what is unseen, to believe just based on one man’s word?  Jesus asks us to place our trust in him.  Let go of our need for control.  Let go of our desire for logic.  Let go and trust.  And He will see us through it ALL.

BELIEVE!
