05-20-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 20, 2017
Jesus said to his disciples:  “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.”   Jn_15:18-21

Ever wonder, beloved, why no matter how hard we try, the world just doesn’t love us?  We’ve got a million examples!

Paul and his company traveled through the Phrygian and Galatian territory because they had been prevented by the Holy Spirit from preaching the message in the province of Asia.  When they came to Mysia, they tried to go on into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them,   Acts_16:1-10

And then sometimes the doors just don’t open when or how WE want them to.  You know what, there just may be a reason!  Between the world hating us and the Holy Spirit protecting us, ‘Oy Vey’  Lord, show us the way, PLEASE!  Keep us always in Your love!
