05-23-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 23, 2017
The Philippian jailer who securely imprisoned Paul and Silas came to witness their miraculous release and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your household will be saved.” Acts_16:22-34

Sometimes it takes a miracle for people to finally believe in God, to believe in Jesus and to allow their lives to be led by the Holy Spirit.  Maybe that happened to us, beloved.  Maybe we were called and listened.  And maybe we had to hit rock bottom of some crisis in our lives to come to God.  Whatever our situation, praise God we’re here.  And pray we continue to listen to His calling and the Spirit’s lead.
