06-03-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

June 3, 2017
(Ss. Charles Lwanga and Companions, Martyrs)
When Peter saw John following, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”  Jesus said to him, “What if I want him to remain until I come?  What concern is it of yours?  You follow me.”  Jn_21:20-25

We seem to spend a lot of time and concern and aggravation worrying about that ‘other person.’  What about him?  Yes, we pray for their safety, their security in the Lord.  But the bottom line is, that their actions are their business and ours is only to continue to follow Jesus.  He will take care of us all.  So don’t worry too much about that other person, beloved.

“You, follow me!”
