10-17-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

October 17, 2017
(St. Ignatius of Loyola, Bishop and Martyr)
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day pours out the word to day,
and night to night imparts knowledge.  Ps 19

All we need to do, beloved, is to look around us.  The beauty of the moon and stars.  The majesty of the birds and their music, the wild and tame animals, as well.  The glory of God within our neighbor, our friends and even our challenging children.  The cleansing of our natural disasters (though we may not feel that way if it’s we who’ve been cleansed).  The reclamation, the revitalization, the baptism, if you will, of all that was into all that can be!  Day unto day pours out God’s Word.  And that Word is JESUS!  Have faith beloved, and all will be well, as we pray for one another!
